Appraisal Privacy Notes
Your report materials, authorised access and property information.
Appraisal and the Privacy Policy
These notes describe the information used by Anana for Appraisal. Read them with the AnMagic Privacy Policy, which covers service providers, overseas processing, security, retention, access and correction requests. The current public website offers demo contact links, rather than an upload or account-registration form.
Setup and report information
Setup involves your contact and agency details, REA licence number, report template, 5–10 earlier CMA examples and information needed for the authorised data-service access method. Daily use involves the property address, relevant property details, market comparisons and generated CMA.
These materials are used to verify eligibility, configure the report format and permitted data access, and generate the report you request. Previous CMAs and source data may contain information about owners or clients. Remove irrelevant personal information and only supply documents that you are authorised to share.
Confidential account-access information
The agreed connection may involve account identifiers, permission records and authentication information needed for authorised access to your chosen property data services. The exact information and method depend on the provider and your permitted setup.
We will agree the method during onboarding. Do not send passwords or authentication codes in a demo request or routine email. Only authorise access allowed by the provider’s terms. Contact us if permissions change, should be revoked or may have been compromised. Access details are not part of the client-facing CMA.
Data services, AI processing and other people
Relevant property information and report content may be processed through AI and cloud providers to prepare a CMA. Your chosen property-data provider also has its own privacy terms and licence conditions. A reference to REINZ is an example of a data source, not a statement of endorsement or ownership of that data.
The customer and AnMagic must each meet the privacy obligations that apply to their role, including any notice required when information is obtained from someone other than the person concerned. The general Privacy Policy explains how this applies to processing on a customer’s behalf and to our own uses.
Processing details and your choices
AI providers, storage locations, retention periods and model-training permissions need to match the actual configured service. These details are not fully specified on this public website; contact [email protected] to confirm them before supplying personal or confidential material. We do not claim zero retention or a universal exclusion from model training.
For access, correction, deletion, account closure or a privacy complaint, contact the Privacy Officer at [email protected]. Legal retention requirements may limit deletion, and cancelling billing does not itself remove all account information or reports. See the full rights and complaint process and Appraisal responsibilities.
