OUR STORY

The people behind
the magic.

Meet the people who bring AnMagic to life.

A NOTE FROM THE CREW

Meet Henry.

A lot of things find their way to him.

Apparently, even magic
takes some organising.

Henry Huang · Co-founder, AnMagic

Ideas, product decisions, business questions—quite a few things land with Henry. He helps decide what AnMagic should do next, and what it will take to get there.

As a co-founder, he shares responsibility for the company’s strategy, product priorities and key business decisions. He works across the team to turn an early idea into something you can use.

His background spans marketing, customer service and business operations, alongside a Master of Public Policy from the University of Sydney. It has shaped how he looks at problems: the people involved, the processes around them and where things get unnecessarily complicated.

For Henry, the aim is to understand that complexity well enough to make your part feel simple.

As AnMagic grows, he helps keep the people, ideas and decisions pointing in the same direction—balancing what customers need, what the technology can do and what the business should focus on next.

A NOTE FROM THE CREW

Meet Vivian.

She thought your time
deserved better.

She has opinions about fonts and colours.
Quite a few.

Vivian Shaw · Co-founder, AnMagic

Before helping create AnMagic, Vivian spent years helping property professionals present their work. She knows how much preparation sits behind a polished report—and why the finished result matters.

Vivian was Digital Marketing Manager for a large Ray White group operating ten offices across Auckland, covering both property sales and rental management. She helped agents with websites, social media, email campaigns and sales reporting, and trained teams to use their digital tools. Working across both sides of the business gave her a close understanding of the everyday demands on agents and property managers.

She later took that experience into her own business, working with long-term clients at Harcourts and Myland Partners.

Along the way, she saw how much of an agent’s day could disappear into gathering information, copying between systems and putting reports together. She understood the work because she’d done plenty of it herself.

That’s why she helped create us. Useful companions that fit into an agent’s working day, take care of repetitive preparation and leave more time for clients—and life beyond the next report.

She also believes the result should look as good as it works.

With a background in design and a Master of Philosophy in Creative Arts, Vivian brings a careful eye to everything we make. Every report carries someone’s name and reputation. It deserves thoughtful design, clear information and a finish they’re proud to share.

She brings two priorities to AnMagic: respect people’s time, and take pride in the work.

A NOTE FROM THE CREW

Meet Lewis.

The human we call when “what if” needs code.

Lewis Chan · Head of Technology, AnMagic

Henry and Vivian have ideas. Lewis is usually the one they ask, “Can we make this work?”

An IT Director at a well-known fintech company, he’s the technical mind behind AnMagic—leading the development and writing the code that brings us to life. Gentle, good-humoured and always ready to help. Even when someone says, “Just one small change.”

He also cooks and sings. We’re trying not to turn those into feature requests.
